Simple steps to complete Citrix server cloning without error.
1. Disable Citrix monitoring service (Edgesight);
2. Disable or uninstall any other service, such as anti-virus agent, backup agent;
3. Recreate and verify local data store using dsmaint;
4. Use Citrix role manage to prepare imaging of Citrix server, and then shutdown server;
5. Clone the Citrix server using cloning tools;
6. Boot up the imaged server, it will automatically join back to Citrix farm;
7. Disable the new Citrix server's NICs and boot up;
8. Run sysprep of the new Citrix server;
9. Enable the NICs of new Citrix server and then join to domain;
10. Join new Citrix to Citrix farm with necessary agents installed.
Step 5,7,9 and 10 can be easily done if it is virtual evironment.
